Education & Training

The Neurotherapy Clinic Victoria

Education & Training

I have a growing involvement in the neurotherapy education and training community in Australia. I sit on the organising committee for the ANSA conference, I am a BCIA-approved mentor for practitioners working toward certification, and I facilitate LENS case consultation groups for clinicians. I am also available to present to professional groups, schools, and community organisations on neurofeedback, neuromodulation, and the neuroscience of mental health. This page lists events and resources I recommend, and I will update it as things develop.

On Demand Presentations

I have recorded presentations available on demand through the Social Work Academy. These can be accessed at any time and are suited to practitioners looking to build knowledge at their own pace.

I am also available to deliver these presentations and more in person or online to local groups, schools, and other practitioner groups. Get in touch via the contact form to discuss.

2026 ANSA Conference — Neurotherapy Across the Lifespan

I am chairing the 19th Annual Conference of the Applied Neuroscience Society of Australasia (ANSA). The theme this year is Neurotherapy Across the Lifespan — exploring how neurofeedback, neuromodulation, and applied neuroscience are used in practice from childhood through to later life.

The conference brings together clinicians, researchers, educators, and students from across Australasia for two days of presentations, case discussions, and connection with like-minded professionals.

School of Neurotherapy — All-Levels Masterclass

School of Neurotherapy All-Levels Masterclass

Immediately following the ANSA Conference, the School of Neurotherapy is running a five-day intensive Masterclass at the same Gold Coast venue. I will be attending this training and I am genuinely looking forward to it — I have completed this training before and found it to be one of the most valuable learning experiences I have had as a clinician. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The program is designed for professionals at all experience levels — whether you are new to neurotherapy or looking to deepen existing skills. It combines didactic lectures with hands-on sessions using real clinical data. You do not need to own NeuroField equipment to attend; the training is relevant across a range of systems and amplifiers.

The Masterclass is led by Dr Tiff Thompson and Dr Nicholas Dogris, both of whom are also presenting at the ANSA Conference.
